East Riding of Yorkshire Council is carrying out a parking review in Hornsea to help us better understand current parking and access issues across the town.
Over recent years, it has been reported that Hornsea has experienced increased parking pressures, which can affect parking availability, road safety and access for residents, visitors, businesses and essential services. The Council has limited resources and cannot undertake full town‑wide parking reviews everywhere at the same time, so this survey is an important first step in identifying where issues are most significant.
The purpose of this survey is to gather local views on where parking problems occur, when they are most noticeable, and the types of issues people experience. The information you provide will help us, together with Hornsea elected representatives, identify priority areas for further investigation and inform any future work, including potential traffic management or parking measures, when resources allow.
This survey is open to residents, visitors, businesses and people who travel to Hornsea. All responses will be anonymous and will be analysed to provide an overall picture of parking pressures across the town.
Thank you for taking the time to share your views. Your feedback is an important part of helping us understand local issues and plan future work.
